underwhelming stay. some issues need addressing
small room poor wi-fi
the room was clean.
the room was too small. there was nowhere to sit except the bed. the shower head clearly needed replacing, and the wi-fi was poor. the tv could not even pick up all the freeview channels despite my attempts to retune it.

lovely touches near seafront
friendly welcome clean accommodation
the location is close to the beachfront. the welcome was very friendly and i appreciate it. the accommodation was comfortable and clean. it was nice to have an en-suite shower room including basin and toilet.
the room is far too small, it was more expensive. there is no place to sit, other than the bed. the wifi was very poor and the tv could not pick up free view channels.

the host was friendly and helpful. they reserved a parking place, so it reduced parking stress. i had keys to the room and front door, therefore i could come and go as i liked.

this hotel is located near places to eat. lidl is nearby, also the town. regular trains and buses go elsewhere along the coast. south downs is in easy reach.

the double room was spacious. all rooms are supplied with a good selection of tea and coffee making facilities. snacks are also provided in the room. the bed was comfortable.

complimentary chocolates are available. christmas chocolates and plain biscuits are topped up each day. coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available. the gravy boat nearby is recommended.

faulty remote limited space
the room looked relatively clean upon first inspection, so that's something.
honestly, the experience wasn't great. the tv remote didn't work so i couldn't change channels, the shower temperature was like a game of russian roulette, alternating between freezing and scalding, without warning. and the small double room felt more like a broom closet, barely enough space to swing a cat, which i thankfully didn't have with me.

cute host nearby places small room bad wifi
marina was super cute to me. she told of places to check out nearby. my room had everything i could want. it was great.
the room felt far too small for what i paid. there wasnt any where to sit except the bed. the wifi was very bad. the tv could not find all the channels.
