simple startstark metalno furniture
the breakfast included bread and coffee, which suited a simple start to the day.
The room was small, I reminded me of I was in a tiny prison cell with barely enough space. There were NO decorations or furniture of ANY kind, just a bed, a sink, a toilet and shower. The bed frame was stark metal. I banged into it a few times, it was NOT ideal.

the room had some issues. there was no hair dryer available. it was a bit cold in the room. there was no way to adjust the heating, not ideal. the bathrooms have see-through glasses which caused a problem for my family with kids.

unique stay at a former prison

The original cell doors remained intact including modern hotel locks i appreciated this preservation. the staff were helpful and they addressed issues promptly. the location provided easy access to the wall plus the train station was within walking distance i found this convenient. there was a japanese restaurant on the ground floor which i enjoyed. It added a nice dining option.
The sink in the quadruple room was outside the bathroom. This arrangement felt less hygienic when refilling water.

the hotel incorporates artifacts and historical information on each floor i noted different displays. these offer guests a unique insight into the building's past. the artifacts add an interesting dimension to the stay.
