Great hotel, convenient location
creamy porridge parking spaces
I enjoyed the creamy porridge for breakfast. the hotel is near to a tram stop. Access to the city is convenient. Plenty of parking spaces were available and that was very helpful. The room was clean. It was a pleasant experience.

The hotel provides on-site parking, very useful when travelling with a car. The available spaces made parking easy. A bar is present and it offers JW Lees beers. The selection is quite good. A beer garden is accessible to guests.

The superior double room i booked was spacious. It was well-equipped with multiple amenities. The room was quiet, great for rest. It was very important. The decor was quirky. I found it interesting and stylish.

Breakfast offers many options. The choice is very generous. a full english breakfast includes bury black pudding, a local speciality. The menu is reasonably priced offering Value. the dining area is smart. It offers an attractive space.

I Found the staff to be polite, and also friendly. the reception staff were super, they were efficient upon arrival. Housekeeping did a wonderful job, keeping the room clean.

comfortable bed breakfast options old carpet poor bathroom
the room had everything i needed. the bed was very comfortable! breakfast was superb with many options available.
The carpet is old and needs upgrading. the shower was terrible, going from lava hot to freezing cold. The rest of the bathroom was also in poor condition.

loved every minute!
clean room great breakfast good food helpful staff
my room was so clean. the breakfast was really great. all the food was very good quality. the staff at reception were helpful and polite. i love that the bar and restaurant staff were very attentive too!
i did notice the hallways are a little narrow. the floors were also a bit squeaky. i think they felt a little dated. it was very minor though!

a satisfactory stay
spacious bedroom helpful staff chipped paint plug socket
the bedrooms were very spacious and equipped with all modern facilities. the staff from reception was helpful and polite (they gave me directions to a local shop).
my room wasn't in the best condition, plug sockets that didn't work and chipped paint were visible. i didn't realise the rooms were directly associated with the pub, so there was a lot of noise at all hours.
