mixed feelings about this visit
overcrowded spa smoking guests
the location is quite nice (right on the beach).
the spa was much smaller than expected. it felt overcrowded, and there weren't enough loungers for everyone. i also noticed guests smoking outside in their robes and then returning inside, bringing the smell of smoke with them. it detracted from the relaxation i sought.

quality fixtures marked toiletries perfectly cooked eggs
The room had high-quality fixtures. The shower included clearly marked toiletries. I liked the little extras like a fan. Breakfast included perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict. Fresh bread and pastries were also available.
The staff were slow serving drinks outside.

Really good stay, Spa is 5 star
helpful staff really good treatments
The staff was helpful and welcomingwith a relaxed atmosphere. The new spa is a standout feature, treatments there were really good. I found the food at the hotel delicious and couldn't have asked for more.
There are no negative aspects to report.

my king room was very clean. the dinner menu offered fresh food. breakfast had a great selection of cooked and continental options.

adequate but with shortcomings
slow service absent service
the location is directly on the seafront.
the bar service proved slow, attentive service absent both inside and outside, i waited an excessive 25 minutes for drink order taken, moreover another table abandoned all hopes and sought refreshments inside themselves, the staff need to improve.
