spacious room comfortable room bedside water early closure no food takeaway meal
the double room was spacious and comfortable. i liked the classical music that played when i entered the room. bottles of water were provided at the bedside , and tea and coffee were available.
the kitchen closed early at 6pm , so no food was available in the lounge bar. i was informed i could order a takeaway , but i did not want that. i felt disappointed i could not enjoy a nice meal in the restaurant.

solid stay near the centre
friendly staff central location lovely room
the breakfast room was beautifully decorated. staff were friendly and efficient. i found the hotel well positioned near central tunbridge wells. the room, a superior double room, was lovely (it had great natural light).
the hotel could benefit from a deep clean in the communal areas. i noticed the carpet and bedding in my room seemed a little stained and tired. a water jug or large bottle of water in the room would have been a nice touch (better than small bottles).

lovely stay with only one little thing
breakfast options friendly staff perfect location
the breakfast had many options and tasted delicious. the staff was always friendly and helpful . the location of the hotel was perfect so i could easily walk to the high street.
the window in my room was difficult to open all the way.

smooth and enjoyable stay
tasty options large bathtub helpful staff
breakfast included varied and tasty options. the large bathtub in my room offered a relaxing soak after a day exploring (a definite plus!). the staff were helpful and quick during check-in, a process that was very slick. there was also plenty of parking available at the hotel.
the room was a bit warm, i couldn't adjust the temperature to my liking.

the restaurant provided excellent dinner with varied choices. the maître d'hôtel, antony, and the waitress, ebba, were attentive throughout the meal, always ensuring top service and attention to detail, made dining a real pleasure.

ABSOLUTELY wonderful stay
warm welcome bright dining space delicious roast
i arrived and amy welcomed me so warmly, she seated me immediately in the bright and open dining space. my roast beef was delicious with roasted green cabbage divine red cabbage and crispy roast potatoes. the service was attentive and the soft background music was definitely a plus.
i found some marks on the bedroom wall, a very slight distraction.

The hotel provides great access for shopping and restaurants. The train station is about a 10-minute walk. a nice park near the station adds to the area, and the pantiles are worth visiting.

Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Vegan options were available catering to different dietary needs. the hot breakfast option was nicely presented. It was cooked to order ensuring freshness.
