The landlady WAS wonderful. She arranged assistance from some locals when we had trouble parking our rib on a trailer. I found many gluten-free options on the menu. The lamb shank at dinner tasted great, cooked to perfection. The fire in the pub kept it cozy.
The bathroom HAD a slight damp smell and some mould was visible in the grout.

the staff was friendly i thought. the food was tasty i found. the portions were large too. i also appreciated the quality of the ingredients.
the bathroom had a damp smell i noticed. mould was present in most of the grout. a separate room for kids also smelt damp compared to the main room.
