the restaurant had very nice food. prices for food and beers was reasonable. the rooms are totally fine i think, the showers where great too.
our room needed a bit more love. there are extension leads next to bed. i think the bathroom was clean but it felt tired.

the staff were friendly, a definite plus.
our room felt quite dated, needing some upgrades. noise from the corridor above was quite disruptive as people walked past. also, the breakfast time was short causing it to be very busy

lovely stay at a charming inn

cooked breakfast local walks excellent beer tasty alternatives
i enjoyed the perfectly cooked breakfast each morning. staff were helpful in suggesting local walks. the beer selection was excellent, with choices. i appreciated the restaurant, with tasty alternatives, including japanese and moroccan options.
the bathroom seemed a bit tired, and some mastic around the bath needed redoing.

the staff were very professional, friendly, and cute. emily were really good too pick me up from the train station and made me a sandwich when the kitchen was closed. nothing seemed too much trouble!

the area offered beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. the inn is in a great location near wasdale which is only 25 mins away. it made an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area and fells.
