the freshly cooked food was excellent. vicki certainly makes a great pie. the micro brewery turns out a range of beers, something for every palette.
the room was dated, shabby, thus poor value for money.

Amazing Pub with Great Local Beers!!!

After a great day in the hills, the vibe here was fantastic. Local beers, food, and a relaxed atmosphere created a lovely evening. My room was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast back in the main pub was lovely.
The rooms are terribly outdated, quite a shame.

The staff are cute and seem to enjoy their jobs. The new owner is a Canadian gentleman, and he shared his history with the pub. He definitely takes good care of this place.

The area is a one-road affair with houses, pubs, a church, and a campsite. Expect a quiet night for undisturbed sleep. It is close to walking trails, the Wastwater, and a farmshop.
