acceptable stay Overall
generous size room size double size shower size coffee making facilities unhoovered room bar area lacking restaurant
the room WAS a generous size. it was on the second floor. i liked the excellent bathroom with its double-size shower. tea and coffee making facilities with complementary biscuits were a nice touch.
The room could have been hoovered. the hotel is basically a bed and breakfast now. only breakfast is available in the bar area. The restaurant has gone.

poor organisation lack of ventilation
the recently refurbished premises were acceptable.
The staff seemed poorly organized. i received multiple calls requesting the same payment, even after confirming payment was made. The room lacked proper ventilation and was uncomfortably hot!

a solid stay near the sea
new design good facilities friendly staff
the room design was new. the shower room included good facilities. i found the breakfast had plenty of choices, and i saw staff was friendly, offering suggestions for dinner places. it made my mornings easier.
I noticed a missing toilet brush in the bathroom. That was unusual.

great location cooked breakfast
The location is great. I could walk to many places. Breakfast included both cooked and continental options. Staff responded quickly when I requested a twin room. They accommodated my request after I found a double room.
The room felt somewhat stuffy.
