The grounds were fine. Every corner seemed like a scene from a storybook. i adored the spa, it had a hydrotherapy pool and various treatment rooms. the staff greeted me always with sincere smiles and attention. the breakfast buffet was a delight, with both local and international options. I savored each morning.
The wi-fi signal was rather weak in certain areas of the hotel. I had hoped for a more consistent connection throughout my stay.

our suite included a king size bed dressed in soft linens and plush pillows. there was also a separate seating area with a fireplace, it added a touch of elegance. the bathroom featured heated floors and premium toiletries, a detail i loved.

The strawberry tree restaurant offered a unique dining experience with its tasting menu. The presentation was artful. the taverna served delicious irish dishes in a cozy atmosphere. i found the wine selection to be extensive and carefully curated, matching perfectly with my meal.

the hotel is nestled in a secluded valley, surrounded by rolling hills and forests. i could take lovely walks along the macreddin stream, listening to the water flow. the area had many hiking trails and scenic drives, i explored them all.

Really good Stay in Scenic Setting

The steak sandwich in the Waterside Lounge was delicious. It included home-style onion rings and a tasty side salad with a delicious dressing. Crisp bread accompanied it. Breakfast included an excellent team serving everyone and being attentive. I saw a deer swimming in the stream near the grounds before it hurried off. The location allows for beautiful walks (I especially enjoyed the orchard).
The room carpet seemed grubby, and the furniture looked tired (especially in the bathroom). It badly needed an overhaul.

I found the room spacious. It included nice toiletries! the breakfast had a great selection of fresh pastries and fruit. i loved the serene grounds. They offer many walking trails.
