solid Stay close to everything
friendly staff good breakfast appointed room
the staff were always there, ready to help. Breakfast is very good. The room itself was quite nice, appointed well.
the rooms ARE small. Expect some noise from the pub until midnight.

this hotel is right next to a church. the river is beyond that. it makes for a great, simple walk to get out and experience the area, with nice views and fresh air.

amazing stay!
perfect eggs period building modern bathroom great facilities
breakfast had perfectly cooked poached eggs! the building had period features with eclectic furniture. the bathroom was thoroughly modern. my room had excellent tea and coffee making facilities.
the electric shower took a little while to get warm.

the staff was friendly, cute, attentive, helpful and polite. nothing was too much trouble for them. they even offered takeaway coffees for my journey!

the inn is in a great location for the village and the thames path. it's set in a lovely spot. parking was available, too. a short walk takes you to the canal boats.

the restaurant offers a wide selection of food and drinks. the bar has lots of space and a nice garden. the food was delicious and beautifully presented. i saw many happy people with a pint!

my room was beautifully decorated with a super comfy bed, desk chairs and a sofa. the bathroom was pristine with luxury soaps and towels. there were plenty of charging facilities also.

friendly staff great breakfast cosy place
the staff showed us the escape route in person dinner was great the breakfast was also very good waiting staff were friendly i found the place rustic i also found it cosy
the christmas songs weren't really my cup of tea it didn't really add to the atmosphere

mixed experience at this hotel
small portion runny liquid
I found the chicken dish underwhelming. The portion was small. The so-called apple sauce was a runny, nondescript liquid. It did not resemble apple sauce. i also found myself seated near very loud people.. this detracted significantly from my overall experience.
