The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom size was good and included a comfortable bed. Car parking was available onsite.

I had a warm welcome from staff member Lee. The staff was friendly and helpful, I really appreciated it. The bar area had a lovely warm atmosphere. I found locals to be friendly.

Breakfast offered both hot food ordered the night before and a help-yourself setup. There were yogurts, fruit, toast, and cereal bars available. The breakfast was lovely. I found the bar food offer substantial and well cooked.

the staff allowed me to stay in the room a little longer after checkout (i had torn the ligaments on my knees).
the food was much less good than the last time i stayed. the service in the dining room was very slow and the waitress forgot items. the toilet seat was not secure (i had reported it last summer, when i stayed in the same room).

the staff was friendly and helpful.
The tv didnt work and i think it should have been checked before i arrived. i like to watch tv after a meal and drinks but i couldnt. also, breakfast wasnt served in the restaurant. It was in a small room upstairs where we had to make our own tea and toast.
