The staff was very friendly and helpful. The meals served were amazing! I was surprised by the very nice gin collection (this place knows its gin!).
The light in the corridor near the room was dim and made accessing the keyhole difficult. It was a small annoyance but fixable.

The staff were cute. I appreciated their attentiveness.
The room was quite dated. the cold water pipes made a terrible noise whenever i turned on the tap. It was quite disruptive. the breakfast tea bags were only flavored and earl grey. I would have preferred a normal breakfast tea.

the staff were amazing!!! they were kind and professional. nothing was too much trouble for them, i felt very well cared for. the food was AMAZING!!! portions were generous, and the roast dinners are a must. i loved the spacious, clean room.
the stairs were steep, and the treads were small. it is part of the original building, but i feel they could be dangerous for some people.
