Amazing Food and Gin Selection!
helpful staff amazing meals very nice gin
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The meals served were amazing! I was surprised by the very nice gin collection (this place knows its gin!).
The light in the corridor near the room was dim and made accessing the keyhole difficult. It was a small annoyance but fixable.

The team were great too ensure every guest felt welcome and valued, addressing requests promptly and with a smile. I appreciate the attentive and personalized care I received . The staff cares about guest satisfaction.

the staff were helpful. i had a lovely room. the shower was very nice! the bed was comfy (i slept like a log!).
i found the stairs a little steep.

the bar area was nice! the staff were helpful.
I found breakfast a bit slow. My order didn't arrive. after 40 minutes, i had to leave without breakfast. i also thought the extra charge for my partner joining me in a double room was unexpected and unwelcome.

dated room noisy pipes
the room felt quite dated. the cold water pipes were very noisy when i turned on the tap. i also did not like sparkling water provided in the room. tap water was undrinkable due to sediment.

lovely gin and restful stay!
amazing staff generous portion clean room spacious room
the staff were amazing!!! they were kind and professional. nothing was too much trouble for them, i felt very well cared for. the food was AMAZING!!! portions were generous, and the roast dinners are a must. i loved the spacious, clean room.
the stairs were steep, and the treads were small. it is part of the original building, but i feel they could be dangerous for some people.
