uneven experience
slow service unclear instructions
the service i received at the front desk felt quite cold. i also noticed the restaurant service was slow. it seemed like the staff were often new and unfamiliar with the payment system. this made settling bills take longer than expected, and the spa lacked clear instructions for using all the features.

wide range spacious area attentive staff
the breakfast offered a wide range of food options (i especially liked the cake). the eating area was spacious. staff members were helpful and attentive.

rental prices inaccurate information
The lack of clear pricing information for equipment rentals frustrated me greatly. A list of rental prices would aid guests in making informed decisions. The receptionist needed a better understanding of local attractions and up-to-date information. I wasted considerable time and money trying to find a suitable ice rink because of inaccurate information given.

a decent stay overall
breakfast buffet sauna selection price confusion local knowledge
the breakfast buffet was extensive it had a good variety of food. the aurora spa provided relaxation it included saunas steam rooms and hot tubs.
i found some simple things needing improvement. i was told one price for skate rental but the price was different the next day. the receptionist did not have updated local knowledge about ice rinks.

The breakfast offered a great selection for everyone. I enjoyed the freshly cooked hot food. The gym access was a nice addition , and I used it daily.

smoked salmon relaxing sauna effective curtains
The breakfast buffet included smoked salmon and various cheeses. The spa offered a steam room and a sauna I found quite relaxing. The room had blackout curtains that worked effectively.
The path to my cabin was not well-lit one evening.
