The location was excellent. It was very close to everything WE wanted to see. Staff were friendly and helpful. They tried their best. The room WAS clean when I arrived.
The shower was difficult to use. I had to kneel. The window was open when i got there and I couldn't close it. It let in a lot of traffic noise. The room was quite small. There wasn't enough space.

Excellent Location near the Riverfront

the location is really great near the river i enjoyed the convenience of walking to nearby cafes the room was clean and the beds were comfortable i found it quiet during the nights i slept well. the breakfast buffet had a massive variety it even catered for gluten-free diets the staff were hardworking and seemed a credit to the hotel. my room was a good size and well equipped it had pretty views across the river and bridges at night. the air conditioning worked well and the beds were super comfy in my room 102.
it seemed like i was next to a tunnel all ambulances used i heard three or four sirens every night that was slightly annoying

the hotel had a modern design and the common areas were well maintained i saw several comfortable seating areas in the lobby where guests could relax or have informal meetings. it was evident that attention was paid to creating a cute environment.

The air conditioning barely worked. The room was too warm at night. the pillows also weren't very good. even though i was on the fifth floor, there was a lot of noise late into the night, it was too bad.

the hotel was near the douro river and it was easy to get around. our suite had a lovely view of the river and bridges.. it felt very special. the on-site restaurant had good food, and we enjoyed our meals there.
it took several days for them to address a defective wash basin in our room, and i reported it multiple times. that was disappointing.

the beds were not comfortable it was like sleeping on old spring mattresses they were very hard also the pillows felt very cheap this affected my sleep quality
