A Pleasant Hotel

The room was super clean. The retreat I attended was beautifully planned (and very relaxing!).
The bar was unattended when I wanted to order. I waited several minutes. The receptionist was also absent. I eventually had to ask for service at the bistro. The TV in my room wasn't working, showing no channels at all.

poor showerparking lot view
the room looked grand at first glance, but i soon noticed some glaring issues. the shower barely dribbled out any water, and i'm not exaggerating!!! trying to wash my hair was like an exercise in futility. also, the promised 'castle view' turned out to be a view of the parking lot. not quite the fairytale i was hoping for, i must say.

the reception staff were polite and obliging. it was good value for money.
the rooms need much better sound insulation. i could hear other residents very clearly and noises from the corridors were also loud. it led to little to no sleep.

The location was beautiful and the staff were friendly. My room included a bath and shower that worked fine. I appreciate the golf course. It was challenging. I also appreciated the spa treatments. They were amazing.
My room was too hot. Windows in my room only opened a tiny bit. I had a fan. I had to put it far from my bed. Walls were not clean in the room.
