I was really annoyed by the hotel policy. they didn't allow outside food or drinks, even water. i was like i was doing something wrong just bringing in a bottle of water to my room. the breakfast was also a letdown. The selection seemed very limited, and the coffee didn't taste fresh.

the breakfast had a lot of different pastries to try. the staff was polite and the free welcome drinks were a nice touch. my room was clean and spacious, it had a nice balcony with a great view.
the air conditioning didnt work when i arrived. i argued to move to a different room that had ac. they tried to charge me a tourist tax, but it was already paid for. switching rooms and the tourist tax.

the location was definitely a highlight. it was really close to the shops and restaurants nearby. the hotel provided a large breakfast buffet, and the food was amazing!!!
the air conditioning didn't work at first. i had to argue a bit to get moved to a room that did have ac. they tried to charge me a tourist tax with already been paid.

I appreciated the hotel's proximity to the market area and restaurants. It was a short walk. I also enjoyed the new rooms. They were clean and modern. Staff were helpful (Mariana at reception was particularly great).
The policy against bringing outside beverages, even water, felt restrictive. I found it inconvenient to have to purchase water within the hotel.
