riverside retreat
modern bathroom excellent dinner sister restaurant coffee machine
the room had a coffee machine plus a fridge it was very convenient. the restaurant offered excellent options for both dinner and breakfast i found it superb. i also received a voucher for their sister restaurant it added value. the modern bathroom included a great walk in shower with nice toiletries it was lovely
my only very slight issue was the hot tub somewhat blocked the river view from the balcony it was minor though

underwhelming stay , some issues
lumpy bed cracked sink
the location next to the river was acceptable.
the small double room i booked was quite disappointing. the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable , and the bathroom looked old and not well-kept with a cracked sink. i really expected more for the price i paid , and this impacted my overall experience.

good riverside stay
spacious room delicious food helpful staff plentiful parking
i found the room quite spacious and comfortable. the restaurant offered delicious food, i especially enjoyed the pork tenderloin. the staff were helpful and gave informative suggestions for exploring the surrounding area. parking was plentiful, a welcome convenience (i often worry about parking).
I noticed the stairs creaked a little. It was not a big issue, though.

The hotel has an excellent location beside the river. it offers very easy access to the town center. A short walk gets you there. i also noted the proximity to the bridge.

I dined in the restaurant and found the menu interesting. the quality of the food was very good. Dishes were well cooked. the presentation of each plate was also very appealing.

Fantastic Riverside Stay
lovely breakfast river view surprise upgrade beautiful room
I enjoyed the lovely breakfast while looking out to the river. The staff happily met specific requests I made. I received a lovely surprise upgrade on arrival. The room was beautiful, and its facilities were great.
The white wine I ordered was very expensive at £36 per bottle.

The standard of cooking was superb. It catered well for vegetarians. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and locally sourced. Breakfast was equally good. I loved watching the birds on the river.

I received a very warm welcome, and the room was super clean. A table for dinner was reserved, thoughtful. All the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The location is amazing, as it is next to the River Teme. This hotel sits close to the town centre and also woodland walks. I found this area very relaxing.

The room included perfect facilities, tea and coffee. The bed was nice and comfortable. It was a nice big room with a bathroom. The view overlooked the river, with a peak at the tower.

There is a bonus of a hot tub available, and it is great even in January. The hotel features both a pub and restaurant on site. These are welcome additions. I appreciated having all these available.
