the room was clean and well-kept. i liked the provision of sparkling water and biscuits, a thoughtful touch. i also appreciated the comfortable bed ensuring a restful night and the excellent service in the dining area. i found the breakfast options good, with several cooked breakfast options.
i noticed a minor issue, the car park sign was slightly confusing in the dark, requiring extra attention.

I found the bed very comfortable. The room included sparkling water and biscuits. The dining room by the bar was cozy and warm. Car parking was easy, but the sign for the car park was confusing at night.
The hotel appear a bit tired.

hot room bathroom refurbishment
the room got too hot, even i opened the Windows. also, the bathroom looks in need of SOME improvements. i think they should really look into fixing it, as it affected My experience, and it wasn't pleasant at all. the hotel really needs to solve this problem. also i had difficulty Finding the location.

a mostly good stay
quality linen very good choice friendly staff
the rooms are large, i found my stay quite comfortable. the bed had lovely quality linen, i appreciated that. breakfast was a very good choice, and everything was nicely cooked to my liking, i must say. the staff were very friendly and also professional, a bonus.
i did have to ask for towels as there were none in my room, a little inconvenient. i hope they improve this detail .

the location is fabulous for walks, i saw some people sightsee. the grounds were well maintained, i noticed plenty of outdoor seating areas. it looked like my dog would have loved this place too.

the breakfast had a great choice of items. i found the log burner fire in the bar charming, it created a cozy atmosphere. the staff were very friendly and helpful in the restaurant, i appreciated the service.
