a good chateau stay!

The grounds were fine! i enjoyed a large swimming pool. there was even a mini kitchen near the pool. I found this arrangement very convenient for preparing simple meals. the billiard room offered games.
i noticed some wear and tear on the antique furniture in my room.

breakfast provided wonderful views to start the day!!! the breakfast each morning included fresh croissants and tasty juice. it was served in a beautiful setting, overlooking the gorgeous gardens.

The manager was very responsive and helpful. they provided kind assistance. i was so happy. the room was always super clean. I really appreciated the timely service from the cleaning staff!!!

broken doorknobfrayed towels
I was disappointed by some aspects of my stay. The room door knob was broken, that's for sure. The bath gel dispenser was empty, and the toilet paper holder was also broken, what a BAD experience! The towels looked frayed, REALLY old and torn. I believe attention to detail could greatly improve.

I particularly appreciated the billiard room. it included various games. A great area exists for a pre-dinner gathering. the grounds was beautiful. I enjoyed their scenic qualities. the location provided a quiet respite just outside the main town.
some furnishings within the room seemed worn. i noticed several plug sockets not operating .

The breakfast was really disappointing It was like they only offered croissants with juice and toast with jam. I think I needed some protein. The furniture seemed old. I am not talking about antique, I mean worn.
