Adequate Stay Near the Eiffel Tower
convenient location metro station hot drinks shabby corridor carpet smell outdated studio
I appreciated the convenient location next to the La Motte-Picquet Grenelle metro station. It serves multiple lines, so getting around was simple. The Eiffel Tower is also easily accessible by a short walk. The reception provides complimentary hot drinks with takeaway cups, which I found thoughtful.
The corridors had a somewhat shabby appearance. I also noticed the carpets smelled slightly of urine. The studio I stayed in didn't quite match the photos I saw online.

decent location, some issues
metro station hot drinks ideal location cracked floor no cleaning no trash removal
i thought the location was GREAT. the la motte-picquet grenelle metro station is located immediately outside the main door and serves lines 6, 8 and 10. the eiffel tower is about 10 minutes from the hotel via walk. the reception had hot drinks. what a nice touch.
the lift had the floor cracked. it MADE a very bad impression. my stay was from friday to sunday and i DIDN'T get the room cleaned and neither the towels changed. also the trash was not took away.

helpful lady modern design
The front desk had a very helpful lady with long, dark braids. She remembered my name the next day. The rooms had a modern design, and they were also spacious. (I especially liked this feature.)
The shower didn't have a powerful stream.

a decent stay
convenient location metro station helpful staff english language no cleaning services cleaning service strange smell musty smell metro train sound
i found the location quite convenient. a metro station was very close. many restaurants were also nearby. the staff were helpful and spoke english well.
the lack of daily cleaning was a problem for me. for a five-night stay, the room was not cleaned at all. i also noticed a strange, musty smell in the hallways. the sound of the metro trains could be heard, and the room shook slightly (i am a light sleeper).
