I found the staff very cute and friendly, particularly Ellie. The owners, Chris and Barbara, made sure I was well looked after. The hotel is set in a lovely garden and it is an easy walk into town.
The pillows were very uncomfortable. I phoned reception at 4 a.m. for a drink and was told they didn't open until 7:30 a.m. The manager stated she was not happy I phoned. I had already apologized, so I thought it was a bit strange.

uncomfortable pillowsstrange reaction
The pillows provided were not comfortable at all. It disrupted my sleep. I phoned reception early in the morning for a drink, but it was closed until half 7. The manager expressed unhappiness that I phoned, which seemed strange as I apologised already.

the breakfast was superb. the staff makes you feel welcome, they are friendly. i found the room super clean. the building itself has character, its an elegant building.
the pillows werent comfortable. i didnt complain cause i only stayed one night.

The staff were all very cute and helpful to me.
My room was on the top floor and the stairs were difficult. The window view was poor too. I just saw roofs. I thought the bed was hard and small. It wasn't a good experience.

the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was sparkly clean.
the pillows were very uncomfortable. i woke up around 4 a.m. needing a drink (it felt so early!). i called reception, knowing they didn't open until 7:30 a.m. they were not able to provide me one. i just filled up with tap water, but i was upset when the manager mentioned the phone call the next morning. she wasn't very happy i had called, though i had already apologized.
