helpful staff transportation assistance outdoor seating
The staff assisted with luggage and were very friendly. Sarah answered transportation questions with kindness. The outdoor seating under the trees created a nice ambiance.
The room lacked sufficient storage. There were no storage options available in the bathroom.

Breakfast included a full selection of options, such as eggs benedict and eggs royale. The food tasted fresh with great options, served in large portions with well presented starters. The crayfish cocktail on a crumpet was especially good.

The room featured tea, coffee, and water. The bed was comfortable. The room offered a warm and cosy atmosphere . The room was clean, super cosy and near a busy road but I did not hear a thing.

Excellent Stay
unique selections cozy lighting friendly staff
The supper menu offered unique selections. I chose the venison steak, cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. My partner also enjoyed the steak! Vegetarian options were plentiful. The bar and lounge were cozy with soft lighting. the staff was so friendly. It created a cute atmosphere!
Service was a little slow during peak hours, but this was understandable given how busy the hotel was.

This inn is well situated for exploring nearby Cotswold villages. The main street is nearby, so everything is very accessible! I found several charming shops and local attractions within easy reach. It was super convenient.

SOME disappointments DURING my stay
clean room comfortable bed slow service breakfast delay
the room was clean , and the bed was comfortable.
The breakfast service was very slow . It took almost an hour to get our food. i felt a Little annoyed that nobody seemed to notice or care about the delay. hopefully , they can improve this aspect in the future.

The staff at reception were helpful. They assisted with directions and local information. the room was clean and well-kept with fresh linens. the breakfast offered a good selection. I especially liked the pastries and fresh fruit. i found the parking convenient. it was free and easy to access.
The wifi signal in my room was weak and intermittent. It made it difficult to work remotely.

The location was convenient.
The room felt quite dated. I noticed several stains on the carpet and the walls needed a fresh coat of paint! The Wi-Fi signal was weak in our room.
