the staff were attentive, i guess.

The room was a disaster. the carpet seemed glued down by something other than adhesive. the bathroom floor had a questionable stain. I'm not even sure what it was, but i didn't want to touch it. the shower head looked like it hadn't been cleaned since queen victoria's reign.

the location was convenient for nearby walks. the breakfast included a good selection of hot items. i found the staff to be friendly and helpful, they quickly addressed my questions. the pub food was great with tasty options.

sound insulation was lacking. i could hear noise from the pub late into the night. it made it difficult to fall asleep.
