The room had charming character, it was a Beautiful Double or Twin Room (I especially liked the decor!). The parking situation was great (very easy, too). The breakfast was excellent.
The service charge was like a surprise upon checkout.

the breakfast was nice with various options and fresh ingredients i found the location ideal it was easy to explore nearby attractions the bar service was quick and the staff was generally attentive the room included a modern tv with multiple channels and a reliable wifi signal. i found it easy to stay connected and entertained the provided toiletries were high quality and replenished daily. i appreciated that the hotel maintained a quiet and restful environment throughout my stay.
i noticed some minor wear on the hallway carpets it was not significant but worth noting for maintenance.

the restaurant served a full english breakfast each morning this included sausage bacon eggs and toast the bar offered a selection of local ales and international wines the service was generally prompt.

the hotel provides complimentary parking the rooms have coffee and tea making facilities available there is a small garden area to relax in the lobby includes comfortable seating. there is also complimentary wifi in the rooms.

the reception staff provided quick check in and check out the housekeeping was daily and thorough staff answered questions helpfully the concierge offered assistance with directions and local information the hotel also provides wake up calls.

the ground floor cottage apartment was very comfortable it was also spacious with both a bath and shower. i appreciated the location opposite the dining area i found breakfast to be good. the bar was close by for evening drinks it made enjoying the evening easy. the staff were amazing i felt very welcome and well taken care of.
i noticed the window blinds were not adequate at keeping out light.
