the location was very convenient. it was easy to walk to the town center and nearby restaurants. i also appreciated that it was close to local attractions. the breakfast was wonderful with many choices available.
the car park was quite a distance from the hotel entrance. it was a bit of a walk up an incline. also, i found the shower's water pressure to be low, it wasn't very strong. finally, the room decor felt somewhat dated.

I found the provided toiletries quite practical. the breakfast included a variety of hot options and continental choices. the hotel offered convenient access to nearby attractions. I didn't need a car. i enjoyed relaxing in multiple seating areas.

lovely stay near the abbey
properly warmed plateshelpful staffperfect location
i enjoyed the tasty full english breakfast. buttery mushrooms were included and the plates were properly warmed (a great detail!). the staff were knowledgeable about walking trails. the hotel location is perfect for walking the hills, too.
some aspects of the hotel looked a little dated.
