the breakfast selection included a full english option. dinner at the hotel happened twice . it provided excellent value with a wide selection on the menu. sitting on the benches outside offered scenic views of the village green. i observed occasional cars, bikes, and horses.
the hotel do show its age in some areas.

the staff displayed friendliness and warmth upon arrival at check in. they readily catered to different dietary needs. i noticed gluten free breads were available. staff went out of the way to assist us.

the room was quiet and warm. it included a comfy bed and good bed linen. the room was also large. it seemed well equipped, contributing to a convenient stay. i felt comfortable here.

peeling wallpaperwardrobe handle
The wallpaper was BADLY applied and then painted. It's already peeling off the walls. The wardrobe handle was hanging off. I think the carpet needs a deep cleaning.
