the staff was excellent. location was perfect. my room overlooked the castle and high street. the hotel provided a very tasty breakfast each morning.
i only had paper cups for hot drinks in my room. this was a minor inconvenience, but real mugs would improve the experience.

The room felt a bit outdated. i didn't like that there were only paper cups provided (i really prefer proper mugs). also, the shower wasn't as warm as i hoped for. It was a bit lukewarm. i wish the hotel would invest in some upgrades to match the prices.

the mattress was not comfortable it affected my sleep. there was no phone in the room there was also no signal on my mobile. i was not aware i could go downstairs and use the phone in reception

I found the staff quite helpful. They assisted with parking and luggage. The room featured a clean space and a four-poster bed. Breakfast included tasty mushrooms and scrambled eggs. Packed lunches were available for a reasonable price.
