The hotel provided free parking and breakfast was included (i liked the bacon). our twin room, located at the rear, was very quiet and featured a lovely bathroom. the room included a nespresso machine, air conditioning, a hairdryer, ironing board, and toiletries. Very convenient.
Prior to check-in, i ordered coffee at the bar and was asked about adding a gratuity. This felt a bit premature. during check-out, i was not given clear instructions and received an email later accusing me of leaving a tap running and incurring damages. This situation was not well handled.

fantastic getaway! a total win!

i stayed three nights. it was so easy getting into brighton by car. the free car park rules! breakfast had tons of options, like english breakfast or continental. the staff was helpful!
the stairs to reach the rooms are a bit steep. it's a small thing, but worth knowing.

mixed experience due to room issues
good breakfastnon-functioning tvpoor communication
the breakfast was good and had an alternative to the traditional full english.
the tv did not work . the manager attempted to fix it , but bbc channels remained unavailable. i also left a dressing gown behind , and i could not reach the hotel for three days despite my efforts and head office emails were also ignored.

friendly staffdelicious roast
Sunday lunch started my visit and the staff was very friendly. I had a delicious roast dinner with unlimited roast potatoes gravy and yorkshire puddings. The room was super tidy modern comfy and stylish. Breakfast had really nice food and service.

I arrived and was asked for a gratuity before i even received my coffee. the hotel seemed unmanned after the pub closed, a fact not clearly communicated during check-in. checking out was oddly informal. I was told to leave, and the room cost would be charged to my card. later, i received an email accusing me of leaving a tap running and being billed for damages. this left me very disappointed.
