efficient staffdeep cleanmissing light
the staff were efficient, especially helen. she managed check-in, food orders, and bar service well.
our room needed a deep clean. i noticed cobwebs in the bathroom and dirt beside the wardrobe. the mirror light also did not work.

the hotel decoration had character. the atmosphere felt very friendly. our room was quiet and spacious. the four poster bed was comfortable.
We arrived during heavy rain. Water poured into reception. water dripped onto the reception desk. I saw buckets. the hotel seems dated and needs tlc. the walls were thin. I heard noises from the room below.

run down bathroompoor teas
I was quite annoyed by a couple of things . the bathroom was in pretty bad shape. I think it needs some serious repairs. also, the selection of teas and coffees in the room was disappointing, (i'm a big tea drinker).
