The room was fine. It considered everything I could need. The location is great and offers beautiful views. I found it warm, cozy, and beautiful inside and out.
On approach to the place, I saw that the road was closed. It was due to a big crane blocking the road. I found electricians tools and equipment sprawled about the entrance. The bar was closed, so I sat in the bistro to get a coffee.

lovely getaway near the north sea
Staff helped secure our bikes. It was comforting. the bed was very comfortable. coffee bags were provided in our room, so that was a treat.
the room service menu listed full availability until 9pm. i called at 8:20pm and was told they were too busy. this was disappointing as i planned my evening around it.

The staff was friendly and professional. They provided helpful service. receptionists beth and megan were particularly courteous. shannon in the bar was also attentive and friendly.

Seaside Bliss
ocean view friendly staff room amenities
The location offered fine views right onto West Sands beach. Staff welcomed me warmly, it really reminded me of home. The room was spacious, and included all amenities.
The main light in the room seemed like it needed some straightening.

The hotel has a very generous bar area, light and airy. There is a big selection of warm dishes for breakfast. The service staff is very cute. You can also order smaller meals at the bar.
