A Comfortable Stay

comfortable bed super clean room
The room was beautifully decorated and adequately sized. I found the bed very comfortable and slept soundly (it really was great!). Housekeeping kept the room super clean.
I was not aware that breakfast needed to be ordered the day before. I expected a fill-in menu, typical of other B&Bs. I thought it would be easy for the owner to offer continental breakfast even without prior notice.
Location
9/10
The location is on the main street. It is surprisingly quiet inside the rooms (I could barely hear any street noise). The hotel is within walking distance of the town center.
Dining
8/10
Breakfast choices are available. Orders must be placed the day before. This allows for a customized start to the day.
Service
10/10
The manager, Debbie, provided a great welcome on arrival. She was helpful. Room servicing was good each day.
Rooms
9/10
The double room had a private bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room. Clean white towels were provided.

mixed experience needs attention to detail

weak wifi signal thin towels
the wifi signal was weak and unreliable i needed it for work and struggled to stay connected. the provided towels were quite thin and small i expected thicker ones at a hotel of this standard. i also noted some dust accumulation in the corners of the room more thorough cleaning is necessary. the breakfast service was a little disorganised and slow. i had to wait an extended time for my order.

convenient parking enough space road traffic late night
Parking was convenient and offered me enough space for my car. I could easily access my vehicle.
I was not happy with the noise. Traffic from the nearby road continued late into the night. It made sleep difficult.
