a nice experience

warm welcome relaxed atmosphere good food quality easy access
the staff gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. i found the atmosphere homely and relaxed. the breakfast offered good quality food at a reasonable price. the location allowed easy access to beautiful places for walks.
i noticed the absence of shampoo and conditioner. only basic soap and a shower cap were available. i would have liked to see more amenities.

The staff was friendly! The atmosphere had a homely feel. Breakfast included good quality food at a reasonable price.
Room 2 overlooked the pub garden, so it was a bit noisy until 1030. I closed the window due to noise. The bathroom smelled musty.

Breakfast was lovely and the location was great.
The room I had seemed a bit small. The shower ran hot and cold. I also had some trouble with a bill I did not make, though they did sort it out eventually.

The single chair in the room lacked comfort. I found the television placement awkward, set in the corner.

I appreciated the proximity to the high street. It was quiet. the bedroom felt clean and warm, which i valued. the bed was also very comfortable after a long day of exploring. the included breakfast felt freshly made and was quite tasty.
my room felt a little outdated, however. i had hoped for decor that felt more coordinated with the historic style.
