a cosy village stay
warm welcome spacious room excellent quality food
The staff welcomed me warmly and remained helpful throughout my visit. my room was spacious, it was clean too. i savoured the evening meal. The quality and size were excellent.

expensive drinks confusing layout
The drinks were expensive, nearly ten POUNDS for a pint and a half. The food prices felt extortionate considering the basic bar meals offered. The layout of the restaurant was confusing. Small tables were scarce. We booked for two but sat at a HUGE table.

friendly staff good dinner cold room loud music
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The dinner was good. I got the homemade pie, and it was really tasty. I also like the good range of real ales they had.
The room was cold when I arrived. It took a while to warm up even when the pub turned the heat on. I also did not sleep well because loud music from the pub was played. Someone was making noise below my room until early morning.

Perfect Getaway, A Romantic Escape
perfectly clean room comfy bed good food
The room provided was perfectly clean. The comfy bed allowed us a great night of sleep. I enjoyed the shower. It was good. The pub offers really good food at sensible prices.
The blind in our room needed fixing. It did not work well.

There is a good pub garden with lots of wildflowers. You can stay the night and sit in front of a cosy fire. It is a very relaxing atmosphere.

Breakfast tasted AMAZING!!! It was rich and delicious. Gluten-free options were available. The staff knows a lot about it. The evening meal choice available on the menu was amazing.

super stay!
ensuite shower english breakfast good dinner lovely staff
i had such a super experience! my room had an en-suite shower and felt clean. the full english breakfast was delicious i ate everything! dinner was good too. staff were really lovely.
the drinks were slightly pricey but that is just a minor thing.

the staff ensured i felt very welcome throughout my time at the hotel they addressed all my requests quickly this created a super positive environment for my stay and also provided great suggestions for local attractions. the service was prompt.
