damp patches uneven floor
the location above the village was acceptable.
I was disappointed with the room. damp patches were visible on the ceiling and it was peeling. the bathroom was utterly grim. There were marker stains on the tiles and the floor was quite uneven.
The room included a spacious outdoor patio. I found this great. The selection of fresh foods at breakfast met my needs. Hot food items were cooked perfectly. I appreciated the variety of starters offered on the dinner menu.
The drink service stopped a bit early one evening. This was slightly inconvenient.
Facilities
9/10
Free parking is available . This adds convenience. The hotel is a short walk to the harbour, ideal for exploring. There is a drawing room available. It provides amazing views.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast service was excellent. It offered friendly service. A cheeseboard was available on the dinner menu, and I appreciated the presentation. The hotel offers a good variety of mains, each beautifully cooked.
Rooms
9/10
The large windows in my room provided great views. The room came equipped with two easy armchairs, which I used to relax. The room was nicely decorated, and this created a very comfortable atmosphere.

dated furniture lukewarm heat
The furniture felt very dated. I also could not get a drink at 9.20 in the evening because the manager had worked long hours on her own and there were no other staff around. There was no heat in the room. The maintenance man tried to fix it but it only went lukewarm.
