I found the building beautiful and traditional. i especially loved the garden and the river views. the staff were kind. Google translate helped with communication (which i appreciated). the food was amazing, especially the sashimi. It just melted in my mouth.
the hotel is a 15-minute walk from the station. dragging luggage was inconvenient. there were no taxis available at the station.

the staff was very attentive. the vegetarian option was delicious too. the 5 baths are all unique, three are private and you book a time each day. they are very relaxing.
the futon mattresses were stained. they were filthy and the bathrooms had gross and discolored grout. i also noticed cobwebs and outdated sinks.
