Traditional Stay with Excellent Service
private onsentoiletries bagset tabledinner service
The ryokan has private onsen. I got an hour for my exclusive use. The room features yukata and a toiletries bag. They have prepared plenty of food. My table was completely set when I arrived for dinner.
The bathroom is very small. It may be inconvenient for taller guests.
Service
9/10
The staff is courteous. They are warm and accommodating. They reserved 2 onsen rooms because we had 2 couples. Tattoos were ok.
Rooms
9/10
The ryokan has tatami rooms and futons. There is a private changing room before you enter the onsen. The room are very clean and cute, especially for foreigners.
Dining
10/10
The breakfast and dinner spreads are exquisite. The chef is very excellent. The staff explain the japanese breakfast. There is a lot of fish so dont expect cereal.
the traditional room was nice. the surroundings had beautiful green hills.
the food did not vary much. after two days of breakfast and dinner, it became repetitive. i also felt the room lacked a chair. it was uncomfortable to sit on the floor.
the traditional kaiseki ryori dinner was amazing. the breakfast was equally good. each room has its own bathroom with a shower and a separate onsen can be reserved for private use for an hour.
