undercooked mealunhelpful receptionist
i found the breakfast to be subpar given the price point. a full scottish breakfast was ordered and it barely covered half of the plate. each item was represented only once. furthermore half of the meal was either cold or undercooked. the receptionist also proved unhelpful at check-in.

i found the staff friendly and helpful, providing quick responses whenever i needed something. our standard room received a nice upgrade to a suite upon check-in. plentiful parking made our arrival easy. i appreciated the upgrade.
i noticed creaking floors in some areas and a limited number of electrical points.

the restaurant presented a good choice, furthermore, the service was excellent, particularly during breakfast. i noted a wide variety of options, including omelettes, poached eggs with avocado, and a full scottish breakfast. there was also a continental selection.

the executive double room i stayed in was nicely decorated and included a standard bathroom. the room contained a hot chocolate, coffee, tea tray, along with biscuits. the bed offered a comfortable space. it was cozy and quiet guaranteeing a good night sleep

My allocated room felt a bit compact. The room was on the ground floor. I noticed a slight damp smell in the room. It also smelled on the bedding.
