the location was acceptable for attending an event at queen's park.
the sink blocker in my room was broken, and it took an hour to get it fixed after returning from a concert. this delay prevented me from showering and going to bed promptly. the bed also had sunken mattresses, made for an uncomfortable night.
The hotel building is historical. i found the restaurant provided good meals. tea and coffee facilities were available in my room. i thought the staff was lovely and helpful. They always seemed ready to assist with any request.
The room lacked a fridge. It would have been useful for storing drinks and snacks, i found.
