the room upgrade to a double met my expectations. the room had a tv, mini fridge, and a kettle with coffee and tea.
the fire alarm went off four times one night. i didn't sleep well because of it. the apology i received didn't feel sincere (it seemed like they didn't care).

I enjoyed the central location. The staff was helpful and attentive to our needs (they even gave us recommendations for local spots). Access to boat trips was easy. Food options outside the hotel were within walking distance.
The room felt dated. I thought it would benefit from a refresh .

hot watergenerous breakfasts
the upgrade to a double room on the first floor was wonderful i found the shower had nice hot water. breakfasts were generous with many choices i especially liked the various meats and croissants.
