The room was perfectly laid out. the shower was lovely and the hot tub a bonus. breakfast was delicious. It was obviously well thought out with local produce and plenty of it!!!
i was ready to write a great review until i checked out. i realised i had left my phone charger behind. the owner said that he cleaned the room himself and there was no chance i left it behind. this was a real shame to end what was an otherwise great stay for an anniversary.

friendly staffbroken fridgemissing shelf
the staff were friendly, and the location proved convenient for accessing nearby attractions.
the fridge in my room DID NOT work. the shower lacked a shelf. i had to bend down to get shampoo and shower gel.

tidy decorationfriendly staffterrace bar
the building features tasteful and tidy decoration providing good comfort. i found the staff very friendly and accommodating. a terrace bar sits upon the river providing a standout amenity.
the signage outside is subtle with only glencree painted on the wall making it easy to miss when driving.

I did not get the room I booked I paid for a river view and received a room facing the main road that sucked.

the location had on-site free parking. the room was excellent. breakfast was great (i really enjoyed the sausages!).
the fridge in the room did not work. the shower was disappointing because there is no shelf. it was easy to drive past because there is no hanging sign outside, just writing on the wall.
