The owner greeted me warmly upon arrival. The bed proved most comfortable. The breakfast included plentiful options. I appreciated the excellent and quiet location. It added to the overall peaceful experience.

The breakfast was well-prepared. I particularly enjoyed the fresh ingredients used (especially the local sausages!). The room had plenty of tea and coffee, great after a day out.
The central heating did not seem to be working correctly . The room felt quite cold and a small electric heater was not sufficient. The room was also small. The bedside tables were unsteady cake stands, providing little space.

the attic room was so beautiful, perfect for stargazing at night. the staff was attentive and very helpful! i definitely plan to return in the future. it is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the lake district.
i noticed limited space between the sink and radiator. i even stubbed my toe on the sink stand. i also burned myself on the radiator when exiting the shower.

the hotel enjoys a superb location with ample parking at both the front and rear. it is ideally situated for visiting the town and exploring further afield. the private and peaceful setting ensures a relaxing retreat.

breakfast was served in my room, a lovely and unique experience. it was very well presented and served with such care. the breakfast itself was exquisite with fresh, delicious options. the food was AMAZING!!!
