The staff were very pleasant. the coffee is excellent. I believe it was penningtons? the location is superb for the northern lakes, only minutes from the m6 junction. i found this convenient.
The bedroom was small, i thought. But, it was manageable for a short stay.

the area surrounding the hotel was peaceful. it was close to the m6, so it was easy to get around. this made it an ideal spot for exploring nearby areas. the hotel provides convenient access to transport links.

The bed was comfortable. the room had a walk in shower. the hotel had lovely public rooms. I enjoyed spending time there. the rooms were clean, which i appreciated.

Surprisingly good stay

We booked a double room for three nights.. the room was super clean. The bed was especially comfortable. The bar offered a great choice of drinks. The atmosphere was lively. It was really easy to access from the M6.
The thermostat on the bathroom radiator was missing, so I couldn't adjust it. The radiator clicked on and off frequently during the night. This minor issue was the only slight disturbance during an otherwise superb stay.

The hotel provided a very pleasant setting near local attractions with convenient parking available. The dining area was spacious, accommodated many guests and was very well-kept. The staff were helpful and promptly addressed all guest requests.
