i found the staff personable. they prioritized my check-in i asked for a birthday surprise for my husband in the room. they put up a birthday banner and provided a complimentary bottle of fizz. breakfast was tasty and plentiful.
the bedroom was small i stayed in had a mattress. the mattress offered little support on one side. the room also had a slightly sloping floor i found a bit uncomfortable

The staff was helpful. They quickly addressed all requests. The food was delicious and offered great value. I found the environment to be relaxing. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere.
The water pressure in the shower dropped noticeably during peak morning hours. Rinsing shampoo was a challenge.

The staff were very pleasant. the coffee is excellent. I believe it was penningtons? the location is superb for the northern lakes, only minutes from the m6 junction. i found this convenient.

We booked a double room for three nights.. the room was super clean. The bed was especially comfortable. The bar offered a great choice of drinks. The atmosphere was lively. It was really easy to access from the M6.
The thermostat on the bathroom radiator was missing, so I couldn't adjust it. The radiator clicked on and off frequently during the night. This minor issue was the only slight disturbance during an otherwise superb stay.
