i booked the suite garden view. the suite included a very comfy king bed. the room offered fresh linens that were changed regularly. i also found a selection of local beers and coffee in the room.
breakfast was delivered a bit later than requested one morning.

Really good stay with beautiful details

I found the decor really interesting. The food was AMAZING!!! We enjoyed two of their tasting menus. The whiskey library and the pool table room are also very cool. The staff was nice and so helpful when we had a power cut because of a storm. They ensured everyone was safe and fed.
The room service policy was not ideal. Our room was not serviced daily, a bit disappointing after a long day out. The policy states that the room will only be serviced every third day, something I wasn't aware of.

Our room had so many lovely features and was beautifully decorated. The king size bed was very comfy. The cleanliness was perfect. Coffee and tea were available in the room, also a few local beers.

i don't know where to begin describing my extraordinary christmas holiday. the team welcomed us with local treats. christmas eve dinner was hosted in the library hall, decorated gorgeously and smelled lovely. the flavorsome courses presented with care made it a nice dinner.
i had issues calling a cab to get into town. however, the team kindly provided a list of cab services. they even assisted us in calling someone to come get us. i appreciated this level of support, as it helped me navigate my travel needs.

we had the opportunity to walk around the picturesque hotel and meet the birds. we fed the alpacas which was a fun activity to enjoy. the king sized beds were very comfy and the fireplaces kept the rooms at a perfect temperature.

I was impressed with the gardens and walking paths. I enjoyed seeing the animals roaming freely. The staff were all very helpful and friendly (Sayward was the best!).
The breakfast, while good, was not quite as really good as I would have expected for the price. The buffet section seemed a little basic.
