charming stay in history!
beautifully decorated suite shambles view tasty breakfast
the minster suite was AMAZING!!! it was beautifully decorated and comfortable. the view of the shambles from our room was lovely. breakfast was tasty and very cheap, so that was a bonus.
The toilet seat was broken. It was very loose. it was not properly fixed before we departed.

The location is fantastic. It is right at the end of the shambles. this makes it very convenient for exploring the city. it is easy to access shops and other attractions from the hotel.

I stayed in the lady pecketts room on the third floor. The decor was fine. the bathroom was bigger than i expected. the room was nice and clean. This was a nice surprise.

historical charm with modern comforts
polite staff helpful service expected amenities
the staff was polite and helpful . i was able to get room service, convenient, given the pub was quite busy. the room had all expected amenities, similar to what you'd find at a chain hotel. sarah, in particular, did a great job.
the room was noisy at night, it sounded like an extractor fan running constantly. the noise persisted until morning, disrupting my sleep. it was not the bathroom fan in my room.

i found the breakfast to be very good, with a satisfying cooked breakfast available. the bar downstairs had a lively atmosphere and customers seemed to enjoy themselves. the prices were comparable to other options in the area.

the inn possessed character but also had excellent facilities including a spacious walk in shower and a good sized bath. the central location was a definite plus. the tilted floor added to the charm of the place.

The room had SUPERB decor and cleanliness that complemented both the city and the hotel's character. I found the staff friendly. The bed offered great comfort. Breakfast provided amazing value with many options.
The room lacked a fridge. which would have been helpful for storing drinks and snacks.

the beautiful room included antique furniture. i liked the gold-colored fixtures in the bathroom. there was also a comfortable bed.
the room above the pub was noisy. the tv signal did not worked most of the time. i also had problems with the wifi.
