Breakfast included many options, but the bacon was VERY dry. Dinner in the restaurant was Really good and the meat had superb quality. AS a retired chef, I appreciate the consistency. The head chef and I had a nice chat about his steak tartare interpretation.

The restaurant had a dinner menu, and the quality was really good. I ate there twice. Four of us dined once and another time there were six. Everyone enjoyed it. As a chef, I loved the steak tartare and appreciated the maitre'd service.

On arrival, the staff seemed friendly, and they explained everything, especially the spa. Staff was polite, helpful, and accommodating, SO that was excellent. The staff goes above and beyond.

The location is a little walk to downtown, and it is also peaceful. The hotel is near the center and many restaurants. This location has easy access to transportation. That's super convenient. I found it to be in an excellent location.

The rooms have PLENTY of space. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with a safe and fridge. The beds are comfy. a water kettle is in the room. This was super handy. The rooms are amazing and I like it!

I appreciated the convenient transfer service for both airport trips and day excursions. It functioned flawlessly. The location provided superb access to attractions and a variety of excellent restaurants within a comfortable walking distance. The front desk staff stood out. They were genuinely friendly and helpful.
The layout of the room felt a bit dated. There was minimal space for suitcases or clothes. The sink was inside the room, while the toilet and shower were separate, reducing privacy.

The reception staff demonstrated excellent communication, providing useful information before my arrival that aided trip planning. Their attention to detail contributed to a cozy atmosphere. I found the staff consistently smiling and helpful. The communication with reception was very good.

The hotel is near the harbor. It's convenient for whale watching and visiting the Whale Museum, both easily accessible by foot. Several restaurants are close to the facility. FlyOver Iceland is also in walking distance.

The breakfast had a wide selection of food items. This was acceptable.
The fire alarm activated two times early in the morning. this disturbed my sleep significantly, and i found it quite worrying. i spoke to staff about it. They mentioned an issue with the alarms but offered no apology and no prior warning. the staff should have apologized proactively.

the spa had a very good sauna it created a nice relaxing atmosphere. i found the staff in the hotel nice and attentive i felt very cared for. my room was simple but nice it was everything i needed after long days.
the shower pressure was weak i could barely feel the water. the temperature was unstable it changed from hot to cold quickly. some insulation on the hot pipe to the heater is needed it was easy to touch accidentally.

sterile roombathroom privacy
the room i had felt a bit sterile. the furnishings were simple, and i only found one coffee pod provided. there also wasn't any complimentary water available. the bathroom setup lacked privacy (the swing-style door did not fully close). i think these things could improve the overall feel.
