I enjoyed the hotel's great location and excellent facilities. the rooftop bar and pool had fine views. It overlooked the beach and sugarloaf mountain. i found that it was an easy walk to ipanema beach, which has a more relaxed atmosphere!

The hotel is across the road from the beach. This provides easy access to the shoreline. the hotel is also a short walk from various restaurants, cafes, bars and shops! it's quite convenient.

The staff were very kind and helpful with any matter. i especially appreciated the staff who offered advice and tips about the area. They helped alleviate my concerns. It was very reassuring.

the room was large, the bed was super comfy, and it had l'occitane toiletries. the room had air conditioning. this maintained a comfortable temperature! also the room was very clean.

the location was across the road from the beach. it was walking distance to restaurants.
Upon arrival, i learned there was an issue with key cards. i wasn't able to get one for my room. the room smelt a bit mouldy and musty. it got no natural light. My window looked out to buildings.

my room, a superior family room, was not as expected. there were stains on the carpet, and the furniture looked quite worn. the minibar also made a rather loud noise at night, a bit disruptive. i also had a difficult time connecting to the wifi, frustrating since i needed it for work.
