a charmed stay on the island
helpful staffnice location
the location provided convenient access to many shops and the public market. i found the staff particularly helpful with directions and recommendations. the breakfast at the dockside restaurant included tasty seasoned fried potatoes. the hotel sent a text around noon to tell me my room was available early which was a nice touch.

efficient check-inexcellent mealuninterested staff
the check-in was fast and efficient i appreciated that. the attached restaurant offered excellent meals i especially liked the seafood pasta. parking was convenient and safe which was a relief. the hotel was well maintained i noticed
some desk staff seemed uninterested in our requests this was disappointing. they did not seem helpful at all. i expected better service

The location is quite convenient. It provided easy access to shops and restaurants. The Dockside Restaurant offered excellent food and service. I found the bike rental service allowed exploration of the scenic seawall.
My room felt dated for the price I paid. There was no microwave included. I also noticed some extra charges upon checkout. I was charged a destination marketing fee, and a Major Events MRDT, which I did not understand.

location worked well for shopping and visiting.
the penthouse shower was in poor condition, they didn't give us all the basic amenities you expect. we got two coffee cups, two towels, and not enough pillows even after asking. this wasn't acceptable.

The hotel is located close to the market. Lots of walking areas are accessible. I liked that.
Some desk staff were not that helpful. They did not seem interested in our requests. The radiator was not giving out warm heat either. It was a bit disappointing.

i discovered a lavazza coffee machine in my room and the hotel provided many coffee capsules i found this was a great bonus the coffee itself was delicious i was very charmed. i was surprised there is a hotel at granville island it is a superb location.
