The room was spacious, and i found the bed very comfortable. I appreciated the provided toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast offered many options including vegan choices. The location suited my plans as it was near the river and city center.
The pool area could have been warmer, and there was an additional charge for using it.

lovely stay by the river

it was a very nice visit. the rooms had a decent size tv and comfortable beds. the heating worked very well and the shower was very nice. the location is central and makes exploring very easy.
i found the bar staff could be slow and inattentive on some evenings. i had to remind them to refresh our drinks, a bit of a wait.

excessive parking fees
the hotel parking charged me around £30 each day. i thought that was excessive. i think they should finish the work before charging five-star prices.

The staff were very polite and helpful. I enjoyed two massages at the spa. The hotel provided afternoon drinks and dinner.
The steam sauna had an unpleasant smell. I also noticed a large fly walking over the cold meat during breakfast, so I lost my appetite.
