desk chair spacious bathroom
the breakfast bar offered plenty of options. the staff were cute and friendly. my room had a desk and a desk chair. the bathroom was spacious with a shower over the bath.
i noticed a water stain on the ceiling

Acceptable Stay with Lighting and Food Issues
dim lighting delayed breakfast
The receptionist was cute when I arrived. This was acceptable.
The bedroom was disappointing and dimly lit. Even with all the lights on, the room was dark due to low-power lights and lampshades. Breakfast service varied significantly. The first morning was prompt, but on the second morning, food was delayed.

convenient location ample parking breakfast buffet
the location was convenient close to the a1. i found ample parking upon arrival. the breakfast buffet offered a great start to my day with good options. my room was a standard room two single beds, it was very clean.
the hotel lacked sufficient soundproofing. noise from adjacent rooms and the hallway disrupted my sleep. i think this requires attention.

the hotel is positioned near the a1. this provided easy access for onward travel, especially useful when you are driving long distances and require a convenient overnight stay, so you can avoid city center traffic.

the shower was amazing.
the room had poor light levels. the fittings showed signs of age (i was annoyed about this). the room could use a refurbishment.

Convenient Stopover with Comfortable Amenities
ample space adjoining room breakfast options
The accessible room offered ample space for wheelchair use. I appreciated the adjoining room for carers as well. Breakfast presented a variety of options, so I was able to find several choices I enjoyed.
The lack of easily accessible plug sockets near the bed was slightly inconvenient.

The hotel manager arranged a conference room with coloring books. This was a kind gesture because a private function was occurring. It allowed the children to be entertained while not eating in the restaurant area.
